Fall Morning at Big Sur River

This morning, I took the new tripod and remote shutter release to my favorite spot on the Big Sur River. I see improvement in the detail in this shot from previous ones without the help of my new tools. I have taken many shots here before which I have liked but I really like the Fall morning light in this one and it does seem like a more stable shot. Isn't digital photography just the greatest? Remote shutter releasers and tripods can be fun! (This while campground hosting at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park in Central Coast California.)

This is a really nice photo...glad you're enjoying your new tripod...are you using a pan-tilt tripod head or a ballhead with it? What a beautiful spot...

Really nice love the contrast of light and dark.

Phenomenal shot - especially given the difficulty in balancing the exposure between the shaded foreground and fully lit background.

Hi. Thanks you for you visit my blog and lovely comment! I did it with my iphone and use my head as a umbrella, very close to the leaves...
Kind Regards!

I love the purple cast of the light, beautiful photo. I don't have a tripod, but I do know it makes a world of difference from seeing it in others photography. thanks for stopping by my post yesterday.
