Run for the Hills

Each time our RV adventure takes us to another location that posts tsunami warning signs, I feel a bit unsettled. We are at Marina Dunes RV Park (Marina, California) which is one third of a mile from the beach. Is that far enough to be safe? What would I do if I were at the beach and there was an earth quake? How fast and how far would I need to go to be safe?

An earthquake is scary, but a tsunami might be more scary. To find a high point to get out such a waterflood is almost impossible. Good luck and enjoy your time there, don't think to much about it.
