5/365 A Little Warmth Please

The Daily Shoot: Illustrate one of the meanings of the the word warmth today in a photograph.

Today is a wet, chilly day in Marina, California where I'm living in the Jazz with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Gingee (and with my husband on weekends). When I saw the challenge this morning while sitting across from John who was busily working on his laptop, I thought, Great, it will be tough to find some warmth today. But as I put on a pot of water for tea this afternoon, the flame on the propane range shouted WARM. So I pulled out my digital camera and a photograph was born. I doubt that I would have ever shot this picture without today's challenge prompt.

I personally like this one...Being a Chef, the flame from the stove top plays a important role.
