7/365 Winter Solstice

The Daily Shoot: It's the solstice. Make a photo that captures the day for you wherever you are.

I'm posting this daily challenge a day late. Last evening as I traveled from Marina (California) to Salinas for my and John's date night, I passed through endless field on both sides of Reservation Road. It is snowing in other parts of the northern hemisphere, but on Winter Solstice, Salinas is wet but warm enough for new crops to grow. I love the diversity of Central Coast California and I'm still loving digital photography.
